The Brandywine Zoo's Home School program offers many different subjects as a part of our Zoo Education Programs. Learn about specific subjects and how they relate to wildlife, plants, and zoos overall! Have a WILD adventure while learning about subjects applicable for grades Pre-K through 12. New subjects every season, so be sure to check back frequently

- To register, fill out the registration form and fax it to 302-571-7787 or send the form to The Brandywine Zoo, Education Department, 1001 North Park Drive, Wilmington, DE 19802.
- Email all inquiries to DNREC_Parks_ZooPrograms@state.de.us or call 302-571-7850 ext. 208.
- Programs may be cancelled due to lack of registration or extreme weather.
Special Programs
Earth Day Event For School Groups!
Ages 3 and up
Educators and students, take a walk on the WILD west side this year in celebration our fragile earth with focus on our critter friends from out west! We are planning a Party for the Planet meant to educate and inspire students to make a difference. The day will include various conservation activity stations, crafts, games and much more… best of all we will meet several state science standards! Celebration takes place in the zoo so dress for the weather. Pre-registration required by April 15th. Special pre-registration fee: $4/person includes zoo admission and program.

Story Time At The Zoo
All Ages - Especially the Young
Enjoy fun animal stories read by our own zoo story-telling team! Story time takes place in the otter circle of the main zoo and may include craft, activity or live animal presentation. Story time may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Please notify the zoo at DNREC_Parks_ZooPrograms@state.de.us if you have a group of 5 or more participants. Fee: Free with paid admission to the zoo. Please check our calendar of events for specific topics.

Keeper Talks
All Ages
Experience the zoo's amazing animals through the eyes of their keepers! Topics change daily, so there's always something new to learn about one of our wild friends.
