Time... Money... Sponsorship
The Brandywine Zoo depends on people like you for support of its commitment to providing excellent care for animals, a great experience for the visitor and a better future for all living things.
Become a Member of the Brandywine Zoo Community. It's easy to join!
Donations to the Delaware Zoological Society, the not-for-profit organization that supports the Brandywine Zoo, are very much appreciated. These include donations of time as a volunteer at the Zoo, grants and sponsorships from individuals, and community organizations and businesses that will provide financial support to the Zoo and its programs.
DONATE TIME
Become a Volunteer or Docent
The Brandywine Zoo has opportunities for you to get involved by donating your time. We invite you to explore the Zoo's Volunteer Program and the Docent Program.
Benefits include continuing education opportunities, training, field trips, making new friends, and helping animals and our environment through education of the public. You must be at least 13-years-old, be able to donate 50 hours annually, and be willing to participate in training programs.
Become a Zoo Camp Counselor
The Brandywine Zoo summer camp sessions are very popular. Counselors must be at least 14-years-old and like to be around animals and children. Counselors help with games, crafts, zoo tours, and making sure our ZooCampers have fun! Click here for more Zoo Camp information.
DONATE MONEY
ADOPT An Animal
The Brandywine Zoo's A.D.O.P.T. (Animals Depend On People Too) program invites individuals, school groups, businesses, and civic and service organizations to "adopt" a Zoo animal for a year. The "adoption fees" are used to develop animal habitats at the Brandywine Zoo. For more information about the ADOPT program, click here.
Become a Delaware Zoological Society Member
By becoming a member you will help the Brandywine Zoo expand and improve its exhibits to make Delaware's Zoo even better! So join today and become a part of the Zoo's future. Click here for more information about membership in the Delaware Zoological Society.
